CvpCA launches 4th year of safe mosquito control program

Once again, we are offering free replacement supplies to participants in our safe, effective, and pesticide-free mosquito control program.

New, expanded Buddy System: Volunteer your yard, and a neighbor will maintain your traps all summer. Our volunteer your time to help a neighbor.

Discounted traps available: While supplies last, you can purchase a set of traps from the CVPCA for just $53. We made a bulk purchase and received a discount for residents.

Year Three of the CVPCA’s Safe Mosquito Control Program Winds to a Close

Thank you to all the participants who made the third year of the Capitol View Park Citizen Assocation's Safe Mosquito Control Program a success!

We are thrilled that new volunteers have come aboard, and we are already planning program enhancements for next year, including formalizing and expanding our buddy system, where neighbors maintain traps in the yards of those who may be unable to do so themselves.

In addition, we are working on a new outreach initiative to help spread the word about how to reduce mosquitoes without pesticides.

If you have questions or are interested in volunteering, please email cvpcacommunications@gmail.com. We’d love for you to join us!
